El Canó resto bar — Restaurant in l'Ametlla de Mar

First day of holiday with my family and we decided to come and sit and get a bite to eat at this restaurant as due to the time not much was open. I Should have followed my gut when sitting down and got straight back up and walked away. Not only was the waitress unfriendly but the food was not at all pleasant. When accidentally ordering two portions of patatas bravas they told us we would still have to pay even though there was miscommunication between the table and the waitress, so we decided to just keep it. The calamari was swimming in oil and unedible when bringing this to their attention (I believe the owner) came to us and said in future we shouldn’t order fried food and that she would still charge us for the calamari that was eaten ( one was eaten). This was by far an unpleasant experience the attitude and lack of understanding when dealing with a new customer was shocking. We were still charged the whole amount which we payed but never again will we...

Walked past this place while looking for some authentic tapas bar... well I think its ticked all the boxes, the food was delicious, the drinks fantastic and the atmosphere true to its location. Straight into one of my favorites. The staff spoke english and were friendly and helpful. Loved it....
