Tucked away in the peaceful fields of Armentera, Cuna Spoon is more than just a restaurantâitâs an experience. Run by a lovely couple and a talented chef, this charming spot is part of their bed & breakfast, complete with a farm and animals, making it an oasis of calm for those who choose to stay the night.
The food is truly exceptional, with a focus on fire-cooked dishes, giving every bite a distinctive smoky, charred depth that enhances the flavors beautifully. Each dish is carefully crafted, striking a perfect balance between comfort food and elegant presentation. The seasonal menu offers four starters, five mains, and three desserts, all made with fresh ingredients sourced from their own farm and garden. The result? A dining experience that feels both rustic and refined.
Beyond the food, the service is outstandingâthe couple attending to guests are incredibly warm and attentive, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The wine selection is excellent, and the setting couldnât be cozier. In winter, if you're lucky, you might even get a spot by the fireplace, making it an even more special experience.
To top it off, Cuna Spoon is pet-friendly, so you can enjoy this incredible place with your furry companion. We fell in love with everything about itâthe food, the people, and their beautiful project. We've already booked our next visit, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and heartfelt...
Read moreJust visited this gem for the second time and somehow left even more impressed. Everything is cooked over fire, giving the dishes a subtle, smoky flavor that makes the whole menu stand out. Itâs simple, honest foodâbut made with top-quality ingredients and so thoughtfully put together.
We re-ordered a few dishes weâve been dreaming about since our first visit, and discovered new favorites too. The menu is compact but beautifully curated, and everything we tried was a hit.
The atmosphere is relaxed and homey, with plenty of spaceâeven with pets. Weâve brought our dog both times and the staff has been incredibly kind and accommodating. Itâs rare to find a place this pet-friendly and still so comfortable.
Service is always a highlight: warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. They gave great wine recommendations and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish.
We honestly donât know how this place isnât fully booked every dayâitâs easily one of...
Read moreNice hosts On arrival without a reservation the host was looking at the reservations list and the tables and arranged them so that he had seats available for the 6 of us in stead of telling us that there is nothing available. Since I was happy about their nice new way of cooking local food on wooden fire one of the hosts invited me into the kitchen to see how everything works.
Great food The concept of Cuna Spoon to cook everything on wood fires makes the taste of the food great for me as a BBQ lover. Even the Caesar salad was prepared on open fire. Also the fact that there were fires burning in the kitchen made the restaurant smell like a cosy campfire.
Wonderful scenery Once you arrive at Cuna Spoon you have the feeling you arrive in a fairytale. The nice green environment with the horses and the water create this picture. The building of Cuna Spoon with all authentic details makes it complete.
Great concept guys keep up...
