Restaurante Teppanyaki Samurai — Restaurant in l'Eliana

Me and my wife attempted to celebrate our wedding anniversary with a meal here, unfortunately we were let down by very poor staff, except for one.

Things were looking good at the start of the night, aside from the front doors being left open allowing a steady and constant stream of flies to navigate freely to our table.

There were two Asian women and a local Spanish girl waiting the tables this evening, the two stars I give in this review have to go to the Spanish girl, she was friendly, attentive and warm mannered. The other two on the other really should not be working in this industry. At the table, one of them was 'ok', the other however, oh lord, I don't know if she didn't speak Spanish and was shy, or had very limited vocabulary but really didn't want to engage in any other way than avoiding eye contact and grunting at us. It was very very awkward communicating, even my young son felt awkward asking what there was for desert, as it seemed that asking her was somehow an inconvenience.

Followed by the experience of paying the bill at the end of the meal, the other member of staff was in conversation with the Spanish girl, whilst she processed my card, facing 180' away from me when the receipt printed, it was put down and she didn't even turn around to thank me or say good bye etc. That was it as far as she was clearly concerned.. transaction and business complete make your way out please sir..

Re' the food, it was 'ok'. The duck, was undercooked, much better in the other Japanese restaurant in el osito, Tencho Teppanyaki. The Sushi was ok, the Mackerel could have done with being fresher, also the Tuna. The noodles were nice, and the Gyoza steamed dumplings were nice.

Unfortunately the service is something I wouldn't want to experience again so won't be returning...

Edit: Hemos repetido una semana después, la experiencia ha sido nuevamente genial. Aprovechamos para pedir cosas que la anterior vez no y todo estaba riquísimo.

Esta vez nos atendió la gerente del restaurante que se acordaba de nuestra anterior visita, pese a no atendernos, pero que nos identificó por esta reseña previa!

Incluso se disculpó por la experiencia con el compañero.

Pd: Recuerden acortar la lámpara junto a la mesa, que mi cuñado se golpeó 2 veces con ella en la cabeza (Yo me lo tomé a risa y me pude reir, pero él no, claramente. 😆)

Fui a cenar en familia y cenamos muy bien, todo muy rico.

Algo muy positivo es que fuimos con niños de 2 años y no fue necesario pagar por cada uno para que pudiesen comer algo. Claramente un niño de 2 años come un poco de arroz, algo de pollo y se acabó.. pero he tenido la experiencia en otros restaurantes de tener la cara de cobrarte medio buffet.

(Cada vez más restaurantes aplican está lógica, muchas gracias por pensar en las familias!)

Lo único negativo que puedo decir es que nos atendieron 2 camareros diferentes, una chica y un chico. El chico cada vez que le pedíamos algún plato más tras servirnos, parecía que nos estaba perdonando la vida, literalmente, por cómo nos hablaba e incluso llegó a suspirar..

Quitando este contratiempo durante nuestra experiencia, MUY...

Hemos venido a probar a este restaurante mi pareja y yo que nos encanta la comida japonesa y que decepción. Los camareros super tajantes, te hacen sentir súper incomoda la estancia, además la comida recalentada, el shashimi de tortilla pésima súper seca y hecha varias horas súper tiesa (no se que cuesta nada hacer una misera tortilla). Luego los rollitos de pato y verduras fatal recalentado, podrían tardar más en servir en vez de querer acabar pronto calentandolo al microondas. Ni el arroz estaba decente, pegajoso y se deshacía. Lo único decente ha sido el pato. Y lo más fuerte es el IVA aparte que es totalmente ilegal, excusandose de que aquí en L'eliana hay varios sitios que no ponen el IVA incluido cuando eso es mentira. Ojalá le cierren este restaurante porque menudo engaño y perdida de dinero. Lo que dicen en las reseñas es verídico es todo nefasto e ilegal. Y bueno por lo que veo la dueña se empeña en dejar mal a los que tenemos razón, asique espero con ansias las excusas. Si lo sé me voy al Centro comercial de Sagunto (Epicentre) a cenar a Kyoto, allí fueron muy amables y productos de calidad. La carta super poca variedad y las gambas frías, duras e intenté pedir otras salsas aparte de la soja, me decían que no tenían y luego tenían teriyaki y muchas más. No vengáis ni...
