LA LLUNA — Restaurant in l'Escala

Tucked away in a hard to find corner, this restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere inside. One is greeted by a complimentary glass of Cava and croquetas. There is no "menu", just à la carte. There is plenty to choose from on the menu – duck, beef, chicken, pork, fish etc all French/Spanish cuisine. We shared excellent anchovies on crisp bread and "do it yourself" pan con tomate. The duck breast was outstanding with a few token asparagus. The twice cooked pig's cheek was tasty but lacking in presentation. We had a pleasant lemon sorbet. A decent Rioja for €15. Service was friendly...

Had a great meal with husband and 16-year old daughter. Very good sushi, had the spicy tuna, it was so YUM! Also the chicken strips were delicious. The patatas bravas came with delicious salsa and we all enjoyed so much. Had some super croquettes and also the gyozas were great. We had the tiramisu and the Apple crumble, loved it. Everything we had was made with attention and the staff is nice. We really recommend this cute and cosey place and will definitely be back to...

En esta ocasión estuvimos en un restaurante llamado la lluna.2 situado en la parte turística del pueblo de L'Escala llamada Riells Justo al lado del clásico salón recreativo y feria. Antiguamente tengo recuerdos de que solo era un pub/discoteca con billares pero ahora también es restaurante fusión tocando varios tipos de cocina como la mexicana, mediterránea o japonesa que por cierto es una maravilla, todo cocinado correctamente en su punto, con muy buena presentación y sabor, con una buena atención por parte del personal, eso sí en ocasiones se relentiza un poco el servicio creo que por falta de camareros, también sirven cocktails que hacen ellos mismos muy ricos también pero quizás un pelín subidos de alcohol, el ambiente es una maravilla con una bonita y acogedora terraza, calidad precio inigualable, sin duda muy...
