Pizza Pazza Summer — Restaurant in l'Escala

This used to be my favourite "cheap" restaurant on the front (when compared with some of the others on choice it is reasonable). However, i think its reputation has finally began precede it. In my most recent visit the service was horrendous and they got our order wrong (my girlfriend requested extra peppers on her pizza but instead received no tomato base on lots of spinach in its place). We had waited an unusual amount of time for pizza so decided to eat on. I also wouldnt recommend their sangria, im not sure if theyve used wine or vinegar but that aside, it tasted more like lemonade than it did anything else. I will keep visiting and its a staple on that beachfront but they do need to sort themsevles out, they have gone downhill and i have been visiting for...

Ayer fuimos otra vez, como cada verano, al Pizza Pazza Summer. Estamos más acostumbrados a ir al otro por el trato y servicio, pero ayer tuvimos que ir ahí porque estaba lleno. Nos fuimos descontentos, por el trato, el servicio y la comida. Las pizzas no eran lo que son en el otro (bordes gorditos y blanditos). La presentación de la pizza fatal. Sabemos como tiene que ser y nada del estilo, como si la hubiesen hecho rápido y con malas ganas. Solo llegar, pedimos amablemente al “jefe de sala” si podíamos ir fuera, ya que dentro había mucho ruído. Quejándose dijo que sí, pero que se lo tendríamos que haber dicho por teléfono previamente ya que normalmente lo tienen lleno. Pero, como llovía, tenía la terraza mayoritariamente vacía y por eso se lo pedimos. Aún así, no entró en razón. Al cabo de un minuto de sentarnos (eran las 21:45), vino a tomar nota y dijimos que solo sabíamos las bebidas, ya que no nos dió tiempo a abrir las cartas. Nos dijo que nos teníamos que espavilar, ya que a las 22:30 cerraban cocina. Un sábado, cuando había bastante gente, no pueden decir que no a gente porque cierran cocina super temprano. Lo dijeron a diferente gente, y nos dio la sensación de que querían cerrar pronto y echarnos. La verdad, me sabe mal porque el Pizza Pazza nos encanta y es nuestro restaurante de confianza, pero el Summer no funciona y lamentablemente no nos...

I wanted a table in 30 minutes time. The waitress seemed reluctant to try and understand me as I am English. She asked if I spoke French but when I asked if any of the staff spoke English as I was eager that my table would be booked, her exact words were "You in England, you speak english but you in Spain you should speak Spanish!"
