L'italiano Ristorante - Eurohotel Gran Via Fira — Restaurant in l'Hospitalet de Llobregat

The place and the food was excellent. The service on the other hand was horrible. Luis (our server) was VERY rude and disrespectful. In our room, we had a "Snack Menu" which had smaller food items from the same restaurant. My mom, sister, and myself went to the restaurant and asked about the menu in the rooms. The server gave it to us. One of the menu items was "Pasta of the day for €11.00." so we asked about it. He brought another menu and told us the "Pasta of the day" was any of their 4 items in the other menu, so we ordered 2. Again, food was excellent.

Once we asked for the bill, Luis brought the check and the price was different than the one in the menu. When I asked why, Luis said he didn't know but those were the prices in the menu. I again told Luis I asked for the €11 pasta and he told me to pick one so I did. He said well I don't know but that's the price. I asked him to explain to me why it said €11 if it wasn't, and he aggressively grabbed the check and stormed off the table. He then came back with the correct amount and did not say a word after that. I want to point out the price difference was not major, but I was questioning the difference between one menu and the other menu he brought to us.

Again, the food and place were awesome and it's unfortunate that it gets ruined by awful service like the one...

Hidden gem: Great Italian food! I think it’s the best restaurant near Fira Barcelona for lunch or dinner. Great quality for reasonable price. You can feel Italian vibe in every dish. Pizza is very thin and crusty. I like it this way. I would only add some garlic oil not only chilli one for client use. Good service and friendly staff. Highly recommended for hotel guests...

Resumen: Muy recomendable. Restaurante Italiano con auténticos italianos entre su personal y lo más importante, comida casera italiana (que es lo que uno busca cuando va a un italiano). La comida está muy buena y el menú diario es un acierto seguro en los que se puede elegir como segundo plato la pizza del día (recomendable!). El personal es de 10. Siempre amables, educados, atentos, rápidos y muy profesionales. El local está situado justo debajo del hotel Gran Via Fira. La decoración no destaca pero es un sitio amplio con mucha iluminación y donde uno se siente a gusto comiendo. PD: El tiramisú...
