I was already familiar with this place as a corporate event location from a friend who worked here with an event company years ago. So when I was invited to attend a Diwali party there, I was really looking forward to seeing and experiencing the space for myself. It is a beautiful space and sadly that’s the only thing I can complement (although they should maybe clean their windows more often). This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in my life! We had a reservation and arrived early before the party. I had other events that evening and didn’t have time for dinner so was hoping to get something to eat before the party. They asked if we wanted to eat when we arrived and said yes. I have no idea why but they seemed to really struggle to seat us (it wasn’t even half full yet). It took at least 20 minutes while all the time reminding me there was only a limited time left to order food. Which I said was fine, I just wanted a quick bite so please seat us! When we finally got sat, it took at least another 15 minutes to even order. Our group was ignored by wait staff repeatedly (we had to flag down waiters the whole time). After waiting a half hour for a salad that never came, we were moved to the bar area for the party. I assumed the staff forgot about my salad and let it go. I was not expecting much at this point already. In general, the staff had a lot of attitude and it seemed like it was a nuisance to do their jobs. But after waiting a full 45 minutes for a salad, it arrived for me at a table on the dance floor. As a result, I was made to embarrassingly have my dinner at a bar table surrounded by dancing. Later on, I went to the bar to get a drink. I ordered a simple gin martini. I was only able to get that far because the chef happened to be standing next to the bar and practically had to force a bartender to come help me. The bartender told me he didn’t know how to make a martini and I’d have to wait for his colleague to make it. Cocktail is literally in your name! How do you have bartenders that don’t have skills or training past working at a cervecería? Not to my surprise, no other bartender helped me. The chef talked to the bartender and told him how to make the drink (also had to wait because they didn’t have the vermouth behind the bar). I specifically asked for Bombay gin and saw the bartender pouring Roku. When I said something, I was told they were the same. Either you’re telling me that the sky is green because they are completely different gins or you’re pouring different liquors in different bottles. Neither is appropriate. He poured the ingredients over ice in a rocks glass and I informed him that it was not a martini. Literally 30 minutes after I walked up to the bar, I gave up on trying to get a drink and walked away. I left not too long after. At that point, it was beyond bad service. I was more polite and patient than your staff throughout this terrible experience. It felt very disrespectful, rude, and offensive. I will never come here again and would definitely not recommend it to any friends or corporate clients. There are dozens of beautiful rooftop bars in the city that treat their clientele with respect and let them actually order food and drinks.
So New Years Eve here was just epic. First of all according the schedule that were sent with the tickets, the evening was supposed to kick off at 20.00 and dinner to start at 21.00. We arrived a bit after 20.00, the bar was still empty with waiters still setting up the tables and hustling around. Why inviting your guests as from 20.00 when your personnel was not even ready! The staff were very friendly trying their best to manage the somehow non-stop chaotic atmosphere. Thank you, guys for your efforts! Food was good, the idea of different small bites was quite nice. The wine card can definitely be improved, strange wines from top to bottom. The dancers were definitely not at ease, could have been their first performance, but it didn't add much to the atmosphere. This place is beautiful, but the whole organization of this event was far from top notch which is a pity as the venue has a great potential. Once the party started, very strange characters were let in.Seemed like the face control was not there anymore, the crowd changed quite a lot and the glamour was quickly gone. Felt like a bunch of teenagers escaped home and came to dance a bit in their sweaters. There was a fight as well and took the security quite a long time to show up. The highlight of the night was one of the bartenders, a very kind guy with a bit longer hair, he went full on beast mode…he was shaking cocktails with the speed of the light and technically serving the whole crowd on his own....
Read moreTo be honest, I didn't want to leave a bad review of this establishment. But as they say, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. This club initially made a good impression on me: cleanliness, well-groomed, some kind of special aesthetics inherent to it. But then something happened that caused my negative opinion of this club. In the middle of the festive event, a fight broke out, some kind of excess occurred. I can understand this. Worse things happen at public events. But an excess occurred - take out to hell those who started this fight. Call security, call the police. These measures were rather weak and mediocre. But this is not the main thing. Why, due to the above-mentioned reason, did innocent people who came to have a fun and pleasant leisure time suffer? Why did the people responsible for technical support of this event - I mean the employees of Skyfall Coctail Club - turn off all the necessary electronic systems, as a result of which the festive event ended before the scheduled time? I apologize, of course, but people still paid money for their leisure. And they did not receive due satisfaction. I was there, I know what I am talking about. Actually, this is the reason for the low rating I left for this establishment. Thank you for...
