Casa Carmen Gran Via 2 — Restaurant in l'Hospitalet de Llobregat

We have had the worst lunch experience at this restaurant:

We were having lunch one day in this restaurant and we took an outdoor table. We ordered a bottle of coke as start drinking. And one server spilled it without care. It was ok we didn’t blame him as long as he brought another one. However we have been waiting around 1.5 hr and tried to ask him many times to get us a new bottle.

That server just keep avoided having eye contact with us. So eventually we could get our coke replaced.

When we asked for the bill, the coke is shown on the bill and he said “ I’ll remember I owe you a coke” so look, he’s not too busy to bring, he behaved like it intentionally

Eventually we didn’t get one single apology and this kind of attitude is absolute non sense. We don’t know how difficult for him to pay for this coke himself or he was afraid to get blame for his manager. But now matter what the reason was, we didn’t deserve this treatment.

We have paid anyway and will never go to this restaurant again. The attention of the service in general is super bad. Worse 0 the value of the price you pay! Highly NOT...

We were very tempted to leave the restaurant before our order was taken.

The worst part of this restaurant was its service. The waiters didn’t really do anything in particular — and that was the issue. For the first 20-30mins after being seated, we were ignored countless times. The waiters would (or it seemed like they were) avoiding eye contact and keeping a distance. We tried our best to get multiple waiters’ attention in the most polite way possible, but to no avail did anyone respond. When eventually we caught the attention of a particular waiter, they found out we only spoke English and ditched us for another 10mins to find another waiter. The food didn’t make up for any of the issues, unfortunately.

We were already incredibly hungry, so sitting here for almost an hour just to get our food was super frustrating. I’m not sure if waiters lacked proper training, but whoever’s in charge should be more assertive about critical issues like this to ensure a better experience for other people who dine here.

Encontré un insecto vivo asqueroso en mi plato, la camarera, al escuchar mi grito, en seguida retiró el plato sin pedir disculpas. Creo que lo hizo para que no me daba tiempo de sacar una foto o vídeo. El aguacate en el plato era negro, y pan con tomate era seco y tomate no era fresco. Ni loca volvería a este sitio.
