If you're not vegetarian and you're leaving La Jonquera on your way to France, or arriving to La Jonquera on your way from France, you want a good meal and are happy with clean basic conditions, make sure to you stop at PK Trucks. As you'll gather from the name, it is used by lots of truckers. And these people appreciate a good meal. There are a wide range of choices from a three course menu starting around €12.00! Up to a three course meal including an excellent entrecote steak which comes in around €19.00. Or you can choose to opt solely for a main course from about €8.00, and then add in dessert and/or coffee, or a drink. And you'll still pay less than €20! We chose a paella menu plus the steak menu. And we had two white coffees to finish and our total bill, including the coffees and a cold drink each was €37.30. Our food was all good. Shower and toilet in the basement, shower is paid. Little disadvantage for parking places is that they are on a slope. When you enter you get a ticket. After that then you eat in restaurant and pay they also give you a ticket. Before leaving there is a parking mashine in restaurant area. Insert first ticket from barrier entrance, then insert second ticket from restaurant and that is it. Then you have 15min to leave parking. At the restaurant, have a few truckers' menus. It depends on how long it will stay in the parking. When you pay at the end, they will give you the same ticket like those who get from the barrier at the entrans. Before you leave the parking, you have to return at front of the restaurant and put the ' barrier' ticket to the paying machine. Machine will ask you to pay, instead of money you have to put 'the restaurant' ticket and you have to leave parking for up to 20 minutes. Otherwise parking will cost you 1.5€/h.
