On the edge of Tamaragua, seems a little bit, on first impressions, like a cafe. But then you take a step back. Sure, they serve food like a cafe, and drinks like a cafe, they have chairs, and they have tables, just like a cafe. It isn't fancy, there is a big tv playing music, much like a cafe... Upon closer inspection you realise it os a community hub. People come to eat and drink, some laugh, quite a few don't bit that is their choice. This place is like THE meeting place in Tamaragua...of which there is a sum total of...one...this one. But it is cheaper than breathing and the food is to die for and there os something for everyone...and lots of it... don't snack before you go here...! We did take some food out one day, and feeling sorry for myself, after the night before, I thought I'd have a pint of lime and soda, so I asked the guy... He said 'No... No pint lime... Only fanta maybe...?' I agreed but asked for a frosted glass none the less... He presented to me...a pint...to which he added...a splash of Fanta Limon... I laughed and endured my pint...hahaha.
Superb guy, great humour...and clearly a community service, long may it...
Read moreUk Reviewee - Trini at Casa Pablo is a very nice and welcoming host. I am a vegetarian and I can honestly say this was one of the most tastiest places I have ever eaten on the island. Food was fresh. Best Nachos and Guac ever. Very tasty pizza - you can ask to have normal cheese (rather than Goat) if you want. Chips were thick steak chips and these guys also do vinegar which is surprisingly difficult to find!! Wish we found this Gem sooner! If I had more time here, this would definitely be a everyday visit! We had the following food; Pizza Cheeseburger Nachos Chips 2x soft drinks 2x coffee 1x bottle of water. Spent €23.40 Cheap and cheerful - this is the place to go! Thank you so much Trini , we...
Read moreVisited here while staying in tamaragua. With not much else about we were limited in where we could eat without catching a bus or taxi. A little apprehensive at first as it looks very "local", we decided to give it a go and we were pleasantly surprised that most of the people inside were speaking english. The owner spoke perfect English too and had a good sense of humour. We had a burger and some garlic prawns, both were excellent and we were even given some extra bread for free which was a nice touch. Prawns, burger, beer and coke came to about €15 with the prawns being the most expensive item at €8. Overall a really cool little place which we would visit again if we were staying for a longer...
