Restaurante Don Pepe Parque Holandés — Restaurant in La Oliva

We unfortunately had a pretty bad experience at this restaurant. We got in as it seemed to be the only option at the time (everything else was closed). The waiter was ok with his manners, but right away we noticed that the table was a bit sticky and there were no tablecloths (neither fabric nor disposable paper ones). Later we also saw how a waiter cleaned the table after a cfamily left. A quick pass with a moist cloth, which explained the sticky table.

When we got to order, we were very specific saying that my girlfriend is intollerant to onions and thus to please not have them in her burger. When the prder arrived the onions were inside. My girlfriend had to take them out by herself.

In general the quality of the food is poor. The meat was drie and flavourless. The bread felt "aged". I had a tortilla, which I am still trying to digest day after.

Definitely not reccomended. If you can't find anything elese open, keep looking. Better to be with an...

Unfortunately wasn’t a positive experience.

Many issues can be noticed.

The number of employees doesn’t correspond to the necessities of the restaurant what makes symptoms like fatigue and lost of empathy visible.

There was a long time since the first plate and the last plate delivered what makes the group eat at different times in order to don’t get the meal cold. The fact that a request was forgotten can also be added. One of the selections was a plate composed by pork and potatoes, where we could count many raw pieces what can represent a serious health issue for who is eating. On this matter I can add that at least the employee approach and immediately suggested the replacement of the plate.

For what is served, some dishes are overpriced.

One of the best restaraunts in Fuertevera. Everything authetic to fuerteventura, food and staff. The Meat is better than the fish (like everywhere in the island ). I reccomend the pork cooked at low temperature and absolutely the local cheese platter. Avoid paella ( like everywhere in the island), we are in fuerteventura not valencia😉. Apart from the food , the service is 10 stars: super fast (even when it is very busy), and helpful staff who can advise you. Quality-price relationship is excellent. Highly reccomended, it's VERY difficult to find something better...
