We stopped here for a lunch on our way back from El Teide because of the nice terrace with the view. I was impressed by the effort put in menues, because they had very clear and informative menues in many languages. In english one I used, they described the names of the dishes (instead writing spanish names) so everyone can understand what's in them. It's also very easy to see right away if any of the dishes are vegetarian. We chose tasting menues, and were again impressed by presentation and taste. We got a full gastronomic tenerife experience through that menu. Also the wine was locally made . The meals were amazing, service excellent and price affordable. I absolutely recommend this restaurant. We will definitely send our friends and family to Cruz de Tea :)

We had a really relaxing and enjoyable lunch here. The views are outstanding, the service was very friendly and welcoming. There are tables on the pretty terrace or inside the restaurant, all with the spectacular views over La Orotava and Agumansa. Lots of options on the menu but they also do a very affordable 3 or 4 tapas plates to choose with bread and a drink for 9.75 and 12.75, which we decided to try. It was all really nice. It did get busy whilst we was there, we arrived for an early lunch and it was quiet then but it soon filled up. Parking spaces at the front. Definitely recommend and will return.

Demasiadas veces pasando por delante ya sea de ruta con la moto o de pateo por la zona y no habíamos nunca parado por este sitio.pero ya para desquitarnos hoy que estábamos por la zona de paseo con nuestro perro decidimos llamar para preguntar si se podía reservar y que íbamos con mascota.y nada sin problema reserva para las dos y en terraza con nuestra golden . Contentos la verdad de poder ir a un sitio a comer y poder estar con bien agusto . Tienen parking delante como par unos 7 coches más o menos pero hay sitio un poco más abajo sin problema .tiene terraza y zona interior . Pero al tema . Decidimos picar varios platos y la verdad que estaban todos buenos . Pedimos una de croquetas de atún . Que por cierto tienen de castañas y ahí me despiste pero las apunto para la siguiente .el escaldon para nosotros no puede faltar ya que algo típico de aquí hay que pedirlo en todos los lados ya que cada cocinero lo hace a su forma . resumiendo que estaba muy bueno también.y para terminar una carnota de fiestas que nos faltó pan para rebañar la salsita que queda al final. Los pibes que atienden muy amables y pendientes de todas las mesas .y eso que estaba lleno. El cafesito no faltó .pero nos quedamos con la magua de pedir un imposible , un postre que tienen y que dejamos para la próxima visita . Que que es un imposible pues ahí se quedan con la incertidumbre y solo tienen que pasar por allí y pedirlo . A todo el equipo del restaurante decirles que sigan con el buen hacer que lo dema allega solo. PD. Si llegan a ver cómo se comía un escaldon entero un extranjero solo no se lo creen .lo saboreaba que daba gusto. Señores hasta la próxima .

We had a really relaxing and enjoyable lunch here. The views are outstanding, the service was very friendly and welcoming. There are tables on the pretty terrace or inside the restaurant, all with the spectacular views over La Orotava and Agumansa. 2024 Same good food and service as before. An improvement point will as we see it, is that the mojo is more creamy. Another thing is the toilets. They are clean! And well maintained! And so is all. We will be back in January 2025. And our five stars are unchanged.

2023 Cruz de Tea is now painted white and easy to miss when you expect a yellow building. We liked the yellow better. The service is the best and the food is well worth a stop, so don't miss it! We had planned this stop because of the very good food and service. Next time when we return to Tenerife in 2024.
