Restaurant Capri — Restaurant in la Vall d'Ebo

After a walk in the mountains, we had lunch in this charming, quiet restaurant in a very pleasant backyard. A full menu for €18, gastronomic quality clearly above the average restaurant on the coast. The black pudding croquettes were as original as they were delicious, and the lamb chops were exactly the ones I ate in the region 40 years ago, cooked over embers. The staff is efficient and friendly, despite a general power outage that some customers mistook for a raid by Russian paratroopers (without any compass!). What a hidden gem ... you'd never know the street existed let alone the bar/resaurant without being in the "know" ... stopped here mid-ride (you can take your bikes through the bar into the back garden area) for coffe & a snack. Excellent food, drink, service and ambience ... absolutely perfect and 100% authentic...

Hemos ido infinidad de veces a comer y la comida, siempre con un toque casero y el servicio y la atención excelente . Pero esta vez hemos notado un cambio , la Olleta de blát picát que estábamos acostumbrados a comer Nó es ni de lejos a lo que estábamos acostumbrados . Olleta para trés , trés patitas de cerdo , trés trocitos de costilla pequeños , un trocito de penca , tacos de zanahoria y nabo , dós trocitos de hoja de col , trés habichuelas , trés habas . El trigo ó blát picát estaba dentro de la Olla pero de forma testimonial , enfín el caldo estaba bueno pero la Olla triste .Todos los años íbamos como mínimo dós veces y fijo una de blát picát , siempre hemos llevado familiares ó amigos . Los camareros que Nos atendieron se esforzaron y fueron muy correctos . Pero es evidente que que a habido un cambio en la cocina...
