El Poste — Restaurant in Larraga

menu del dia restaurant on the main road passing Larraga (& almost opp the great bodega Macaya- all their wines are fab & very affordable which is why we were passing!). Friendly staff who all wanted to speak English, rare for us! Good selection. The spinach and prawn starter and the melon and ham were both lovely. Trout was a winner for the main and we really liked their Flan pud, one of the best we've had. We'll go again if we're in the area at lunchtime....

We've passed often, and every time have said we should stop by sometime. Well we did, though just for a beer and tortilla. It's an everyday kind of place, no pretentiousness, but clean tidy and well presented. Just the kind of place we like. We will return another time for menu del día ! Una pena he estado hoy en el restaurante y no creo que vuelva a ir a restaurante. Hoy han tenido un detalle muy feo con nosotros. Hemos ido mi marido yo y mi hija pequeña de 5 años. Hemos pedido 2 menús y para mi hija no hemos pedido nada porque le hemos dado de lo nuestro. Ya que ella come muy poco y a la camarera le hemos pedido un plato pequeño . Si pedías un menú de 15€ tenias postre y café. Mi marido a pedido un menú de 15€ para darle el postre a la niña y yo un menú de 14€ porque yo no quería tomar un café. Teníamos que pagar 29€ pero nos han cobrado 30. Nos hemos quejado pero la que nos han cobrado a dicho que por el suplemento de la niña tenía que cobrar 1€. El suplemento de la niña a sido un plato pequeño y tenedor nada más. Una vergüenza. No sé si...
