We discovered this roadside gem on our way driving from Barcelona to the Pyrenees. It is just outside the little village of Martinet, so make sure you don’t miss it, you would be sorry. We stopped in primarily for the snails I saw on the menu. The snails were not quite what I expected, (too salty and dried out) but everything else was tasty. My husband had the duck and foie canelón and we shared a mixed salad. For seconds he got the butifarra, which was locally made and grilled to perfection. I ended up having the black and white butifarra which was also delicious. The crema catalana for dessert was also homemade and tasty ~ just the right amount of sweetness. Even despite my lackluster response to the snails, the owner hostess graciously exchanged the dish for another. Malo malisimo , we went half an hour ago today 27 of September in order to eat and they said they do not serve menu outside. The. Why 15 tables?? I said on then let’s have a sándwich hot one and he said again we do not offer service for outside . I said again ok i will pick up myself the sándwiches and go outside . She was so negative so inflexible and i gold her first i have to amolde and i have a dog with me , so this is the reason that i have to stay outside . Of course to mention before i day hello that we are full and whatever you order is going to delay. So it seemed that she was fed up and no more service welcome.
