Lost in the middle of a deep forest, next to a 5 star hotel with the same name (but not the same business -actually with a different restaurant inside called "L'Indiot"-), you find this hidden gem.

You get stunning views over the forest and the sea beyond. You have an excellent deco totally aligned with the modernist style of the building. You have excellence service mixed with some students, but all of them scorted by Nico, maitre and alma-mater of this gorgeous place. And finally you have great, perfectly cooked and presented food. No doubt this place deserves a Michelin star.

Experience has been very good end-2-end. Some improvements might be required to get to The Star, but still totally worth it.

Check on the gastronomic menu: unforgettable experience!

Massive wine list (wine "book" is more adequate)

Illustration: gastronomic menu for 69€ (drinks aside)

There are three roads leading to it. Take the one from Lloret de Mar, as it is the least rough. We came from Blanes and almost wrecked the car. The location is very beautiful. We had the lunch menu and the price/quality ratio was good. Don’t expect a Michelin-starred lunch, but simply a decent rural meal. The dishes were simple and we enjoyed the starters. The main courses were a bit underwhelming, the sea bass was a little dry, but the wine recommendations were good. However, cleanliness could be improved, as removing cobwebs and dust wouldn’t take away from the rustic charm of...

The rooms have some damaged furniture that you shouldn't expect from such a hotel. Uncomfortable bed - on springs that send vibrations every time your partner moves a bit. Wifi is extremely weak. On the positive side: breakfast is good and Spa is great too. Restaurant in the evening is super quiet and feels strange. The food is just ok - small portions, tasty but I bet you can cook like that at home. The route to the hotel is not great and I recommend to take your 4x4 if you have one. The service is great and everyone is...
