Cas Busso — Restaurant in Llucmajor

I've been to this place three times during my stay in Mallorca. And I definitely recommend it. So far I ordered the paella, the mixed BBQ platter and the pork loin on three separate occasions.

All the meat is cooked on a open wood grill which you can really taste in the char of the meat. The paella was amazing. Fresh seafood no doubt. Locally sourced and lots of it.

The one thing that I would bring to your attention is they do not season their meat, the salt, pepper and vinegar is on the table for you to season to your. I also recommend starting with the olives, bread and aioli because the bread is made fresh in-house.

The first time we ordered it it was still warm and the olives they have there must be local because they're super savory and delicious and they don't have that normal bitter astringent olive taste that I'm used to from the store-bought stuff. You know you're at the right place when you see the giant metal...

We have enjoyed eating here several times over the past few years and have 5 star reviews but our latest visit was dreadful. I would give zero stars if possible. We felt very unwelcome, service was poor, the food was inedible. The meat tasted reheated and was black, overcooked and too dry to eat. The salad and potatoes were quickly covered in the tiny flies that seemed to congregate only around our table. The waitress removed both our meals from the bill but we were upset that our lunch date had been spoiled. We...

Wir waren heute zu Mittag das erste mal hier. Auf der Karte findet jeder etwas. Als Vorspeise hatte ich "fritto Mallorquin" (Innerein), ein Traum 😋. Die Portion ist als Vorspeise allerdings viel zu viel. Mir wurde daher freundlicher Weise eine halbe Portion angeboten 👍. Danach hatte ich das Lamm in Pflaumensauce 😋. Ebenfalls meeega lecker, keine Ahnug wie lange das geschmort hatte. Und selbst mit der halben Vorspeise konnte ich nicht alles aufessen, obwohl ich ein guter Esser bin. Meine Frau hatte den gegrillten Tintenfisch 😋 und die Mädels die fritierten Calamari mit Pommes. Letzteres war allerdins recht fettig. Generell ist alles keine leichte Kost aber so ist bürgerliche Küche eben. Preis Leistung stimmt jedenfalls! Service war sehr freundlich und auf Zack. Wie man sich benimmt, so wird man behandelt. Eine Damen- Radrunde kam nach uns an und begann gleich selbsttätig mit lustigem Tischerücken. Das fand der Kellner nicht ok und hat dies auch so mitgeteilt. Danach wurde professionell weiter bedient. Wer auf authentisch Küche und Mallorquinische Spezialitäten steht ist hier richtig. Freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch, da werde ich das Kaninchen mit Zwiebeln probieren 🤗. Update: Auch das Kaninchen war super, wobei die Fischsuppe welche meine Frau und die Kinder hatten dieses übertraf. Die Suppe kam in einer großen Tonschüssel und brodelt sogar noch am Tisch einige Zeit, so heiß war das ganze. Egal wo wir das nächste mal auf der Insel sind....hierher komme ich sicherlich jedes mal...
