We dined here on a busy Thursday evening, having reserved a table. On a hot July evening, the courtyard restaurant was lovely and cool. Great attention has been paid to the décor and lightening with a waterfall, greenery and a funky hessian roof with upside down plant features. Service throughout the evening was professional and friendly, with our waiter happy to give recommendations. Whilst browsing the menu we were given a large plate of avocado, tomato and caper salad with little toasts as a free appetiser. We opted to share a pickled partridge pate starter; it's an ingredient we see a lot in the North of Spain but rarely in Almeria. The pate was lovely; a decent portion size with little toasts to scoop it on to. For mains we shared a wild boar paella; not having tried pure meat paellas before. It was incredibly rich and creamy and he declared it one of the best he'd had in Almeria to date. I went for milkshake ice-cream which was a generous bowl and absolutely was not just vanilla, but all those flavours of a big milkshake. The only small niggle we had with the entire evening was that a lot of the wine was off that evening; I know they do events here so they may have just had a run. Despite that, the wine and cava we selected was extremely good. We...

Two gins two rums and large water with gas, warm bread olives and alioli, sharing plate of squid tentacles, two savory crispy doughnuts with pulled wild boar and pica de gallo. Duck confit and wild mushrooms Paella, two more pulled wild boar doughnut things for dessert. Then fancied actual dessert, so an impressive tarta de queso. I was in pain by the time left and not from the bill. I was very happy with the 90€ it cost and would have been happy to pay 150€, the food was first class, very special. I could eat two more of those pulled boar doughnuts...
