We spent two weeks here and I can tell you this is one of the best restaurants on this island. Why?
Prices are very good, no matter what we order, it is around 50 EUR in total.
The service team is very welcoming, speaking English, fast and kind. They will tell you if you order too much, it means they care about the quality of your stay and not the money.
The food is outstandingly good, it's so fresh and tasty, we tried almost all the items from their menu and every dish is worth checking out.
The view is amazing, if you reserve a table in advance, you can sit near the windows and enjoy the ocean while you eat.
Complementary digestive if you are into it.
Busy open kitchen, you can see how the kitchen functions, it feels like Michelin level.
Make sure to reserve the table if you don't want to wait in line, because this place is popular and very busy all the time.
Thank you Mundial 82, you made our stay on Tenerife exceptionally good. Love from Berlin and...
Read moreBest Restaurant on the Island! Mundial 82 is located in a small northern town in Banana Plantation Territory. Even if you aren’t staying here for example in the beautiful Hotel Rural Casa Amarilla (which you should!!!), you should definitely come eat here. The dishes are prepared in an open kitchen, the windows look out to the rough ocean. The no frills but charming waiters guide you through the menu - but we would come back for the Paella every day. The cabbage salad was amazing - never thought I’d say this about Cabbage. And the fried fish we had was so flavorful aswell. The restaurant is simple and soon gets packed with locals and tourists who are in on the secret. Unfortunately we couldn’t come back for more due to car troubles, but hope to be back to the island soon to...
Read moreWe tried 2 times before but the place was closed (not on Google). The food was awesome, not too big portions but I am not going to complain. A couple of things: reservation is needed or you are going to be first in the queue and still wait 30 minutes to be seated, then another 20 to order and then 10 to get food. It is very beneficial if you are local or friend of the restaurant, so you can bypass most of the wait. Wine was the Bodegon 35, which is the standard on the island - always good. The staff was a bit lost. It was Saturday and they had full house of people, but they behaved like it was for the first time. I will visit...
