We were a party of 13, aged 4 to over 60 and all with limited Spanish. We had a fabulous evening.

Of course the food was great. We ordered widely from the menu and everyone enjoyed their dishes (brilliant, interesting, local ingredients, would have been at home where I live in London). But the wonderful experience was not just down to the food. It was also due to the welcome, the friendliness, the atmosphere.

I almost didn't want to write this review. This is one of those restaurants you discover and want to treasure as a secret. But I already feel, after one visit, that the family running the place are friends, and they deserve for the world to know about the Restaurante...

I didn’t stop to eat but to get a drink and a short break in the shade while running from Aguilar to Antequera. It was a hot day in May and still the place felt comfortable. The atmosphere was perfect and the service was not just prompt but as there was a problem with my card payment they had the generosity to give me my desperately needed isotonic and water with no payment.

If ever I drive through I will make it a point to stay for longer as it was my perfect idea of a Spanish...

we stopped by since we had a long drive ahead of us, therefore, we we were extremely hungry. While the place itself does not look as fancy as one might hope, the food is excellent. The waiter, who we assume is also the chef, was enormously friendly and patient. We ordered a salad (1st course) a main course and a dessert, which was all very delicious. We would definitely recommend to take a look at this place and give it chance that...
