Sota De Copes — Restaurant in Móra d'Ebre

This is the hidden gem of Mora de Ebre! The food is fantastic, the atmosphere very relaxed and chill and the staff warm and welcoming. We bought a farm in a nearby area to Mora. It’s difficult to find a restaurant with such good quality food, as it is a farmers region and not many visitors to the area. Yet as we find in every place we love, there are quite a mix of Dutch and British folk who have moved south either permanently or just for the summer months. I’ve been told they have live music on the weekends, but unfortunately we have not been here on the weekend yet. We typically drive out to the beach for those days. They are pet friendly, which is also rare to find...

We visit here for the first time three years ago and since then we come back every time we get the chance. Staff is super friendly, trying the best to give a good service, the quality of the ingredients of the food are top, with self growing ingredients when is available. We are vegan but find no problem eating here once the owner trie to adapt some option and the result is always superb. The ambiance is lovely with some music thematic without breaking the old “masia” stile with stone walls and big arcs. Definitely is our favourite...

Reservamos una mesa para 4 en la terraza nos dijeron que mejor a las 21'30, llegamos en punto enseguida al decirle al que teniamos la mesa en la terraza nos dijo que lo sentia pero que caian gotas, y teniamos que estar dentro, fuera habia una mesa con bastante gente y un bebe, no parecian haberles caido ni una gota luegon llegaron dos chicas que sin ningun problema ni gotas se sentaron fuera, han tardado media hora en venir a tomar nota, dentro tres mesas...... Entre plato y plato se nos paso el hambre,, nos levantamos dos veces a quejarnos y cuando nos vio el camarero en voz baja que venia en cinco minutos creemos para que no lo oyeran desde la cocina, a toda esto el dueňo o lo que sea, sin aparecer, la mitat de los postres no tenian, al final aparecio el dueňo, se sento en una mesa con las dos chicas que entendimos porque en su caso no caian gotas, y se pudieron sentar en la terraza. Conclusion el que manda es el camarero y segun las ganas que tiene de desplazarse a servir llueve o no llueve. Es una pena que un lugar tan bonito funcione tan mal. ...
