Bar Castillo — Restaurant in Manilva

I recently visited Bar Castillo in Manilva with a friend and had a fantastic experience. This charming bar stands out for its delightful tapas and relaxed atmosphere.

Tapas: We particularly enjoyed the fried calamari. It was cooked to perfection, boasting a crispy exterior while remaining tender and flavorful on the inside. Each bite was a delightful blend of textures and tastes.

It was mediocre, tables being cleaned with a pungent overbearing spray and left wet, service slow, but the owner a nice guy, the montaditos and various tapas good. Now it is terrible. We have been twice since it changed hands. The first time the service was very slow (talk about trying to catch the waiters eye!), the second non-existent. We called a "hello" as we entered then sat for 10 minutes, only 1 other table of people, and the 3 staff all stayed in the kitchen. 3 or 4 minutes after a new arrival went straight to the bar, someone appeared to serve them, ignoring us. We got up and left.

Such a shame. A local, village bar, off-season, incapable of attending a hand-ful of customers!

Era mediocre, las mesas se limpiaban con un spray fuerte y dominante y dejaban mojados, el servicio era lento, pero el dueño era un buen tipo, los montaditos y varias tapas buenas. Ahora es terrible. Hemos estado dos veces desde que cambió de manos. La primera vez el servicio fue muy lento (¡habla de tratar de llamar la atención de los camareros!), La segunda inexistente. Llamamos un "hola" cuando entramos y luego nos sentamos durante 10 minutos, solo una mesa mas de personas, y los 3 miembros del personal se quedaron en la cocina. 3 o 4 minutos después de que un recién llegado se dirigiera directamente a la barra, alguien apareció para atenderlos, ignorándonos.
