Restaurant Cal Spaguetti — Restaurant in Manresa

Carles booked a table 6 weeks in advance as it's peak Christmas season and he wanted to make sure we didn't have a problem. Despite this we were seated in a closed-in corner behind a counter, facing a wall. We were told no other tables were available for two people. 30 minutes later, the 4 person table next to us, which was much more open, was made available to a couple who probably didn't have a booking. A good restaurant should prioritise customer experience over marginal sales, the excuses we were offered, clearly indicate that the staff/management know that the table we were given is not appropriate for a restaurant dining experience.

I had crab claws for starters, these were excellent. Carles had mussels, which were okay. We had black rice with seafood for mains. The rice was undercooked, it had too much ink making it very salty and there were pieces of broken mussel shells in the rice - not a pleasant experience.

I had a brownie for dessert. If it wasn't for the ice cream, the brownie would be inedible. It was gloopy and dry. Carles was given 3 dry profiteroles that had hardly any cream in it.

The service was reasonable.

Amazing experience in Cal Espaguetti with gourmet dishes. We had the weekend menu with three courses. As starters there is a wide variety of fish and meat options. I will highlight the ceviche and the foie-bikini (sandwich). In addition, other vegetarian options like the burrata is a great choice. As for main dishes, fresh fish and mussels are a must to try. There are beef steak or pork cheek as alternatives for the picky eaters that do not fancy fish. Moreover, for vegetarians and vegans one can ask to be served a vegetable rice (be careful and ask it to be cooked with no fish brew). To match the meal white, rose and red wine were offered. In summary, it was a pleasure...

Tenemos reserva es alucinante que me tenga que esperar en la entrada 15 min ...y detrás mío entran 4 y para adentro encima después me cojen y me hacen esperar en unos sofás cuando delante mío veo gente comiendo ...de verdad no e visto semejante cosa y mira que me muevo en sitios de categoría pero que me escondan para que la gente no me vean...ya es lo último si tengo mesa reservada es para que me la den no??? Pues aquí esperando 20 min ...y la gente enchufada directamente a las mesas vacías... Y por rematar las reseñas malas enseñan a mejorar ,,, Todo muy bueno pero el canelon con mala leche estaba frío .. ( No saben cojerse las reseñas malas por lo que se be) hay muchos más restaurantes muy buenos en la zona y este te aseguro que no vuelvo nunca más .. Aquí me dice la dueña que ocuparon mi mesa y en persona me dice otra cosa vaya profesionalidad.... Yo llamé que llegaría 10 min más tarde no a las 3 .... Vergonzosos vuestra contestación aquí se be la educación...bravo... Es más te lo e dicho en persona que como aquí ningun sitio me han tratado de esta manera ...mil veces la cúpula del Garraf, cal L'aury ,etc..... Que los reyes de cal spaguetti no me extraña que los cocineros les pleguen.... Ya digo yo que en Manresa hay miles de restaurantes muy buenos ...que no tienen nada que envidiar a vosotros ...tienen más educación la verdad.... P.d .violento a sido la forma de comportamiento hacia los clientes del alrededor...porque fue la dueña la que busco protagonismo delante de la gente, para que todo el mundo lo viera... Le dije que estaba en mi derecho de poner la reseña y nos sentimos acosados y ofendidos y era para levantarnos pagar y no comer y marcharnos para no tener problemas porque estaba la dueña acosandonos para que quitará...
