Lo Moli de Rosquilles is a one-off. Cleverly and most sympathetically re-purposed from an old olive oil mill it provides a lovely place to stay. It is somewhat hidden away in the heart of an old village right in the delta of the River Ebro. With the exception of the port area, this is deepest, fertile agricultural Spain. Access by the many stairs is quite steep, so this would not be perfect for those with limited mobility. Clean, loads of hot water in the showers and with good beds, Lo Moli makes a lovely place to stay. The restaurant provides simple but good food, which can be taken on the terrace in the summer, looking out over the mountains surrounding the delta and an excellent buffet breakfast. We were given a lovely welcome with enough English to get us by! This is a charmingly rustic little...

Delicious local serano ham, cheese, bread, with fresh garlic and tomato. Boquerones and fried bacalao. We didnt need to move and ended up enjoying a bottle of the local wine in front of the cosy fireplace. The evening meal there did not disappoint . A freshly prepared confit of duck ( local produce) on a bed of chargrilled courgettes drizzled in olive oil. ||We enjoyed a wonderful nights sleep ,followed by a deicious breakfast. Such tremendous value too. It doesnt get much...
