Great pool....its really big and plenty of space for everyone to relax in the sun for the day....pool bar only open for food 1pm until 4pm and 2 days when we visited they didn't have paninis on the menu, advertised as opening at 10.30am so went at 10.30am and it had changed opening hours to 11am....the pool is lovely but very expensive to use everyday as once you have paid for a day pass, sunbeds and a snack and drink from the bar for two of us it was nearly 40 euros.....6 euros for a day pass, 3 euros for a bed....the staff are really friendly though, think the pool bar menu should be bigger and open longer. El Faro de Country is a new business venture being run by a Spanish family with considerable catering and restaurant experience. The clubhouse is based on an urbanisation comprising of Spanish, British, Dutch, German, French, Swedish, Belgian residents. Marcos and his family are building the business by listening to their customers, improving the food & drink offering and providing entertainment every other weekend. Attended a pre arranged function here today. I was served the worst meal I've ever been served in a restaurant. I ordered chicken and salad. Got what was the size of one fish gujion and salad. I asked 3 times if what was on my plate was chicken. Kept being told it was chicken. But it was fish. Luckily I'm not allergic to fish.
My partner was served a burned black round hard thing with a few cold chips. He was supposed to have fish and chips.
How on earth the proprietor could let this come out of his kitchen is beyond me. He should be ashamed of himself.
