Five-star dining experience at the Tossal Gros restaurant. Jordi and Paul were gems of waiters, we first had a visit of the vineyard and then sat down for wine glasses and lunch. Without doubt our best meal of our 8-day trip in Spain. We also were lucky to meet one of the chefs. The dishes were creative, extremely tasty, and reflective of the local food culture. Some highlights included the fried ravioli with a sweet and sour zesty sauce to dip, the papardelle (homemade) and the bonito fish tostadas. Had a side of the llonganissa (?) which was a local cured meat with a peppery kick. For several of the wines, Jordi and Paul were very accommodating of our personal preferences and able to suggest the best house wines (or other local wineries) to accompany each dish. The white natural wines were a personal highlight for us, and we are bringing some back home. Deserts (carrot, persimon and the hazelnut coulant) were sublime, especially paired with one of the local herb-infused liqueurs. Thank you Jordi, Paul and the amazing team in...

This charming restaurant exceeded all expectations! With a breathtaking view that the pictures simply can't do justice to, it creates an ambience of warmth and coziness. The service we received was impeccable - proficient English, attention to detail, and hospitality that set incredibly high standards.

We opted for a simple order of wine and tapas but were pleasantly surprised by the dedication of the staff. They seamlessly immersed us in the fascinating stories behind their dishes, the unique serving style, and the top-notch local ingredients used. Their enthusiasm and knowledge made the dining experience even more special.

We left the place with a promise to ourselves to return for a dinner, eager to explore more of their enticing menu. I wholeheartedly recommend this culinary haven, it truly deserves more...

Very serious gastronomy gem: quiet location with fantastic views, outstanding cuisine (creative, star-level execution, work with highest quality locally sourced ingredients, a lot from small producers around, beautiful plates), great collection of quality wines - local (restaurant is connected to the winery of Escoda-Sanajuia) and foreign, a lot of natural wines. The ambience, the service, the hospitality - way above most of the establishments around. We always come back here when we’re around, each time it’s a...
