Just been to a golf presentation evening at El Cason. The entertainment (Project Duo) were fantastic as always but the food was appalling (Tapas) which was 20 euros per person, it was not worth that at all as the food quality and quantity was diabolical and only worth 10 euros each at a push. Lots of people said the food was rubbish but after several disagreements between the staff and diners we felt we had no option but to pay 20 euros each even though we didn't agree with it. Yes we knew the price beforehand but didn't know that the food would be so horrible and there would be so little of it. We were also told that the price of 20 euros per person included the Paella which was served to the golfers after they had finished, this was never divulged until now and the people who didn't play golf didn't eat the Paella so why should they pay for it. This place is the worst so called restaurant I have ever been to in my entire life. Disorganized, dirty, unhygienic, and zero atmosphere.

My wife got food poisoning from eating their fish and chips, which was appalling, just soft greasy batter. It was most likely cooked from frozen, or even warmed up leftover fish someone had left previously, and that is the reason for the food poisoning, which ruined our new year’s celebrations with friends. My wife spent New Year’s Eve vomiting and lying in a darkened bedroom. If you are intending eating at this place, I recommend that you do not. Myself and my partner went to enjoy a lovely meal as we do every summer and was appalled by the attitude of certain staff and lack of basic customer service. Waited 30 mins for our order to be taken, then waited an hour before our starters came. We were told by staff to move inside as it was going to rain, we proceeded to move inside and was met by a young male waiter with our starters so we informed him we were moving inside and he rolled his eyes and scoffed in our faces and threw the plates onto a table with multiple Beatles crawling over it and no cutlery and walked away.
