Exquisite food. It was our favorite meal of our entire 2 week visit in Galicia. We arrived late afternoon with no reservation and were very happy (and, I think, lucky!) to get a table. We had pulpo, an empanada, smoked sardines on tomatoes, zamburiñas - all fantastic. I'd love to return so we could try whatever else is on the menu, all unique versions of traditional Galician dishes. The vibe is relaxed, eating there is a real event to be savored. Best food in the whole of Galicia! Because we stayed in the nearby hotel, we tried nearly every food on the menu and everything was absolutely delicious!! Whenever we tried food somewhere else it could never quite match our taste experience in this restaurant, which is why we always came back. The owners and employees are lovely people who made our stay a pleasure and really tried hard even when our Spanish was not the best to non-existent (which we regret). This restaurante is well worth a visit. You'd never really know it existed it's so off the tail. Foods is excellent. Much if not all locally sourced and produced. All cooked up by the owner and her staff. Sit in a friendly, clean, luxurious area. Wine was wonderful. Food was soooooo tasty and there was so much that I forget to take photos. Fish. Shell fish.
