Discovered this restaurant and bar by accident. It is in a small town called La Mairena up in the hills near Elviria. The drive up is beautiful and worth the trip for that alone. Being high up, the restaurant boasts spectacular views of the landscape all the way to the sea. You are greeted warmly when you enter and the glass walls show off the location perfectly. There is an outside terrace too, allowing you to immerse yourself in the view while enjoying your meal or just a drink. The service throughout the experience was excellent. Just the right amount of attention leaving me and my wife to enjoy our conversation together. The food was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We had the salt and chilli squid and the gambas pil pil for starters, followed by chicken fajitas and the fillet steak for mains. We topped it off with the homemade brownie at the end. All the food was excellent. I enjoy a medium rare fillet steak and it was cooked perfectly. Both the starters were excellent and I would recommend them. This is my favourite salt and chilli squid now. Overall, I can't fault anything about this restaurant. We will definitely visit...
Read moreThe view is spectacular, along with the service. The staff are the most friendliest people ever and always look after you. The food is always magnificent whether it is busy or not. The chef puts a lot of effort into the meal and each meal has so much flavour it makes you want to get more. My favourite meal is the salt and chilli spare ribs. The spice has a good kick but in a tasty way that delights your mouth. I recommend this restaurant to anyone with. Spectacular views, staff...
Read moreBen is a great host. The food is well proportioned and very tasty too. Let alone the views on a clear day should be Awesome. For sure will visit again. View hasn't changed, we were 8, the service lacked a sense of humour but Ben was quick to jump to the occasion and crack a few jokes and be as hospitable as he can be with his British humour. We were 8 and the food was good, generous portions and the bill came out to €30 each including a generous tip. Will visit again...
