Aura — Restaurant in Oliva

The food is good however a bit overpriced especially for the experience you get on the terrace as it's very basic with cheap plastic tables and chairs which don't match with the expensive pricing. I would suggest book inside only as it's much better or avoid going here all together.

This was our second dinner here so the first was inside and the staff was great, also the first dinner the restaurant was half empty and everything was great however today we had to sit outside and the experience has been horrible as they are full and busy. They took 28 minutes to serve drinks after having taken the order. They completely forgot to bring the starters and brought the main course hahaha... What a disater. The waitress (Patry) was super rude and unfriendly and completely destroyed our experience. The wine list is nothing special however really overpriced for a Spanish restaurant of this level.

This was our 2nd visit, as tried in 2022. Unfortunately our rating has not improved, which is sad as Oliva Nova complex needs some good quality places to eat…

We ordered the grilled octopus which came extremely chewy and on a bed of cold, very lumpy and unseasoned sweet potato, whilst crunchy pork was so old, we spent a lot of time chewing!!

May have been good work out for teeth, but it was probably one of the worst starters we ever had and we waited just over 30mins for it and there was only 1 other table taken!

Thankfully our Sea bass tar tar was nice and they could go wrong with Spanish wine.

Given the price of starters and lack of confidence in chef(s) we didnt order mains, as didn’t want to be further disappointed…. We live of complex, but hate to say we would not choose to return for 3rd time

We went as a family with two adults and two kids. We had attentive and friendly service from Juan Luis and Cintia all the way and great food. We started with Bread/aloli, ham and aubergine. The Bread was warm and fresh, and the aubergine was the best aubergine we have ever had. For main course we had a very juicy sea bass made in salt - with a perfectly matched white wine, and prepared nicely at the table. The kids had burger and meat and admitted it was better than burger king (which is a very high honour from them).
