If you're looking for authentic food in a welcoming atmosphere, don't look further!
It's been almost 10 years I live in Catalunya and I can't be more pleased, really. The owners are passionate about their regional products, friendly to their customers and respectful with their staff.
Obviously, it's a popular place: you'll see the staff and many regular locals (always a good sign!) cheerfully greeting each other, which contributes to that friendly ambiance.
Fruits and vegetables are fresh, sourced locally and each dish, thoroughly cooked.
One of the star dishes being pieces of beef or duck meat grilled on a slate plate, over thyme sprig (carne a la llosa). It smells incredible and tastes great. There are plenty of vegetarian options too.
This family owned restaurant greatly contributes to their community. I'm very happy with the whole experience and will come back for sure.

Read moreUnassuming appearance from the Calle, amazing service and local hospitality inside. Because they are in season, I had the calcots a la brasa - a seasonal catalan specialty you'll need a bib to eat! If you've never eaten these, it's good to watch a local. No cars nearby, I thought I'd be alone. Inside , it was packed with families and a very attentive staff. Google maps once again did me right and helped me find this gem, way out of the way. Will return for sure, and...

We booked for opening at 1pm and glad we did, because the restaurant was pretty much full by 2pm. The service was outstanding, as was the food. The steaks cooked on a hot stone are mouthwateringly tender. They come medium rare, but if you want them cooked more, either ask or just leave them cooking on the stone longer. Prices are perfectly reasonable, both food and drink. The 'Special Dessert' is a great way to end the meal. A great way to spend a Tuesday lunchtime. We...
