A single night stay while walking the Camino Ingles. This slight detour was worth it to suit my distance planning. I also see they offer a collection service from a camino point if required. A good check-in experience with a clean spacious room. A little warm was my only complaint. I had my evening meal in the restaurant that was of good quality, large size and good price. A reasonably easy ordering system from your table QR code. Breakfast in the bar cafe was sufficient. Laundry service at €8 for a tub was great. Drop off on arrival and collect again from bar clean and folded at 2130hrs. Easily recommended.

Good place to stay on the Camino Ingles. Motel style. Reception and house keeping friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom were clean and shower hot. They gave me a bigger room since I stayed 2 nights. BF on Day 1 had a wide spread. On Day 2 I was served coffee, pan, cheese and ham. There’s a lift. Wifi worked well. Restaurant Avelina down the road is a good place to eat — go early.

It's a one star hotel so you can't expect the luxury of a 5 stars. The personnel were very polite and helpful. We had dinner there as there were no other places to go. It's true it's a bit expensive, but can't blame them as they offer a rare service in the surroundings. The food could have been better, but I can't even complain that much. Everything was ok after all.

First impressions of this hotel were poor. It's on a main road, by a gas station, and seems to be inhabited by a roving cast of truck drivers. Check-in was chaotic and we were asked to pay as we checked-in, which perhaps says something about the quality of clientele. The rooms are tired and shabby - ours had mould on the walls and the shower backed up after even a short amount of time. After a long day on the Camino we were pretty disheartened, to be honest. ||||However, after lying on our beds for ten minutes and laughing about the situation, things picked up a bit. We had a shower and went down to the bar, which is a sort of sad attempt at Americana and with a bit of a fly problem. First impressions weren't great, and the menu, although extensive, looked like something you would find on the road trip halfway across Texas. More fool us. This was one of the most memorable meals we had on our trip - the waiter didn't speak English but was incredibly friendly and helpful and all of the food was freshly cooked to order. Enormous fresh padron peppers, prawns in Garlic, and other assorted racion and tapas were really very good. In addition, there was wine, beer and every type of gin imaginable. The same was true at breakfast - helpful, willing staff who didn't speak English, but who were determined to find out what we wanted and deliver it. We had fresh toasted bread with Pan Y Tomato, and for the money it turned out to be surprisingly good value. ||||Despite this, you are probably better off trying to stay in the Hostel in Bruma if you can. If you do find this is the only place in town with spaces don't despair. It isn't pretty, but you'll be well fed and looked after within the limits of what...

It is sad this hotel is extracting every penny it can from desperate Camino walkers, as otherwise I suspect its ratings would be okay. I'm ashamed to say I paid 108 euros for a twin room with breakfast (the most expensive hotel we stayed in on the walk, and the worst by some way) - both hostels in Bruma were booked up by a month before the walk so we didn't have much choice. The hotel is on a main road, between a roundabout and a petrol station, with a garage opposite, and a tractor mechanic a couple of doors down, and not much else around. The hotel offers a service to pick you up from Bruma, and this worked well - the guy arrived in just a few minutes after our call. There is no service to drop you back on the route in the morning, but this is fine as it's only a couple of km and you can cut across to join the route a bit further along so the next day's walking is about the same overall. The room we stayed in was tiny, with no air con, and of pretty low quality, but clean. We had a meal there in the evening, as there was nothing else around, and it was okay (unsurprisingly, overpriced!), but the room it was served in was like a school cafeteria. The breakfast was similar - fine, but underwhelming for the price. Overall, if you stay here for around 50 euros B&B you'll probably be quite pleased. Much more than that, and you might well be left fuming about what you've got...
