Restaurante El Pantano — Restaurant in Orxeta

This is one of our favourite “go to” restaurants for a tasty and filling lunch (or evening meal). The menu is varied and consists of dishes from everywhere….Italian, Mexican, American, English, and even Spanish! The prices are very fair and the portions ample for any appetite. If you are craving a burger, this is the ONLY place to go. The burger choice is huge…my favourite currently is the Indian Burger…the Pantano burger is enormous, and I smile every time I see the look on someone’s face, who has ordered it for the first time. There is a large and pleasant outside seating area with views over the Pantano and hills. If you book, a table is set for you on the patio, or there is also indoor seating. A beautiful and sophisticated restaurant. The owners were welcoming and the menu choices were fantastic and varied. A lovely atmosphere and I would definitely visit again soon. We are a family of four and have completely different preferences when it comes to meals. I have to say that we were all catered for and both the standard of service and quality of food was fantastic. A superb restaurant, which is a little off the beaten track but well worth finding. The burgers here are absolutely beautiful, struggling to think of better. Service is excellent, location wonderful for an after meal stroll. A special mention to the young Spanish waiter (ex reptile man). He made the visit for us.
