Our overall experience was not good, unfortunately. We were driving from Barcelona and got lost on our way to the restaurant. As we were a bit late, we called to inform this and the person who answered said it was ok, no problem. As soon as we arrived, about 15 minutes late, the person that received us (looked like the manager, was we was not the same that took our order and was on the computer later) was very rude and told us that we needed to order right away, that he had to send the order to the kitchen in 10 minutes maximum. A couple of minutes later, he came back and kept pushing. He was so rude that we almost left the restaurant right away. As we were in a winery, we asked for wine by the glass, like a tasking, to try different wines during the meal. He said that was not an option and pushed us to buy a bottle.
A little later, a senior waiter took our order. We was much more kind and polite so we decided to stay and order a bottle from their Priorat wine. The service from this senior waiter was friendlier and the food was ok, but uninspired. I travel all over the world visiting wineries and this my worst experience in a winery restaurant. Read moreEn primer lloc, quan vaig trucar em vaig haver d'entendre amb una màquina que no responia en català, la qual cosa considero que és un greu menysteniment per la cultura del país on s'ubiquen les bodegues. A continuació, vaig esperar per parlar amb una persona física (sempre en castellà) i vaig sol·licitar el menú de grups perquè convidava la meva família a a celebrar el meu aniversari (aquesta primera conversa va ser el 19 d'octubre) . Passats uns dies, no havia rebut res. Vaig tornar a trucar i, passats uns dies, tampoc havia rebut res. Finalment, a la tercera trucada, vaig aconseguir que se'm fes arribar el menú que sol·licitava. Aleshores se'm va dir que no havia rebut res perquè s'estava elaborant el menú de tardor (al meu entendre, que ningú no hagués pres nota d'una demanda per executar-la quan fos el moment, és un cas flagrant d'incompetència professional) Finalment, la meva intenció era portar un pastís de la pastisseria de Vilafranca de la que sóc client habitual, però, el Celleret, per via telefònica, em va dir que per normes Covid no es podia portar res de fora. Ho vaig acceptar i vaig encarregar un dels pastissos que el restaurant m'oferia en el convenciment que estaria elaborat pel Celleret. La meva sorpresa ha estat que, quan ens han portat el pastís, havia estat comprat a una fleca de Vilafranca, amb la qual cosa vaig entendre que acollir.se al protocol Covid potser només era una excusa per donar benefici a un determinat proveïdor. Every ingredient tasted incredibly fresh and well-prepared. We ordered the menu, which included a variety of appetizers, a main dish, and a dessert, and everything was beautifully presented and full of flavor.
