Top Cuisine only 200 yards from where we staying on holiday. The minute we walked through the doors, we knew we were in for something special. The balcony overlooks the rest of the village and you can see all the way to Roses. The menu - where to start... there was literally nothing on the menu I didn't want to try. The wine list matched our order perfectly and the staff were able to suggest specials and desserts to match. It was so good, we returned on our last evening.

L'anterior visita al Nou Fusión va ser l'octubre de 2023. Crec recordar que aquell dia el restaurant tancava per jubilació de la seva propietària. Amb la notícia que seguia obert, vàrem sopar-hi a una de les seves excel.lents terrasses, la més íntima i petita. El restaurant, situat en una bonica casa pairal en la part alta de Palau-Saverdera, ofereix unes magnífiques vistes de l'Alt Empordà i la badia de Roses. Està governat per una parella, ella a la cuina i ell a la sala, amb experiència en restaurants anteriors. Carta molt similar a l'anterior, amb propostes de cuina local i tocs de fusió. Equip de sala molt correcte, taules amb separació suficient i ben equipades. En aquesta ocasió, unes anxoves amb un ben sucat pa de vidre i de segon, pollastre saltejat amb anacards a l'estil Thai i llobarro a la planxa amb guarnició. Ambdós segons ens van agradar molt. I les postres, uns rotllets fregits de poma i plàtan, més bons aquests últims. Copa de cava, aigües, cafès i una copeta de ratafia per arrodonir un bon sopar, en un entorn interior i exterior molt bonic. La puntuació de l'ambient baixa nota per la presència de mosquits, i caldria posar-hi alguna solució. Vaig veure proposta de menú els migdies no festius. En qualsevol cas, un lloc recomanable per l'entorn, l'equip i la garantia de la cuina.

05.06.24 Das erste Mal in diesem schönen Restaurant mit einem eindrucksvollem Panoramablick auf der Terrasse, mit hervorragenden Gerichten. Von den Tapas, über die Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichten und Desserts mit meinen französischen Freunden, die gutes und schmackhaftes Essen zu schätzen wissen. Eine gute Weinauswahl zu respektablen Preisen. Leider hatten wir einen Nachbartisch mit 6 deutschen Ehepaaren im Alter von 70-75 Jahren, die sich sehr unhöflich und respektlos gegenüber dem Restaurantinhaber verhalten haben. Sie haben verschiedene Dinge am Essen reklamiert. Der DEUTSCHE Küchenchef Ralf Hochkirch hat sich den Beanstandungen angenommen. Diese Leute suchten das berühmte Haar in der Suppe. Ein Detail der Gruppe, sie baten vor der Reservierung ihre 5 Hunde mitbringen zu dürfen. Sie bemängelten, das ein Wassernapf zu klein für einen Hund wäre. Früher hat man zu solchen Leuten, Korintenkacker gesagt! Ich habe mich ehrlich für diese Leute als Deutscher geschämt und musste mich Ihnen letztendlich meine Meinung mitteilen.

What a find! We happened to be staying nearby and were delighted to discover this gem of a restaurant. As a family, we enjoyed specials and from the menu and all 4 of us were waxing lyrical about the quality and flavour of the food. Amazing wines, we enjoyed an excellent Rioja. The restaurant has a stylish and fresh feel to the decor, yet you are encouraged to relax and enjoy the flavours, atmosphere and beautiful scenery. Having 2 adult children, it is rare we can please everyone, but Nou Fusion met everyone's expectations. We are returning again during our holiday, at least once!

Nice atmosphere but the food underwhelmed for the price and expectations. Not terrible. Everything plenty tasty but food is amazing in general in the region and this was definitely not amazing. Ingredients in dishes didn’t combine well, vegetables weren’t well cooked, and a tomato sauce that was too sweet and too strong on top of otherwise lovely fish was really out of place.
