My experience at Reitoral de Parada was simply exceptional. This modern rural house and restaurant, formerly an old rectory, is a true gem in the heart of Parada do Sil, a standout point in the stunning Ribeira Sacra.

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home thanks to the unparalleled hospitality of José, the gracious owner who went out of his way to ensure our stay was perfect. His warmth and attention to detail truly made a difference.

I just want to warn future customers about the very unpleasant people in charge of the hospitality at this place. Traveling in Spain on a long trip I had booked 7 different hotels in the north of Spain. On the second day of my trip I had a serious problem on the road and was forced to cancel my whole journey. All the other 6 hotels agreed without problem to refund me the whole amount of my booking at very short notice. Only the one where I should have stayed in the same day refund half of the price paid. |The “Reitoral de Parada de Sil” where I should have been on the next day, refused to do so, even though I called them directly to explain my situation. I was able to cancel online, on their site, all the other 6 bookings with full refund even though the deadline to do so was over. |Not very nice people indeed. I hope...
