Restaurante Daniel tapas y arroces — Restaurant in Pego

I believe this is now called Bar Daniel. My wife and I had lunch there today (14'June), great welcome from the waiter, ordered beer, a stlll water and the menu. Prompt delivery of all 3, beer and water were lovely and cold and the menu is pretty extensive and should meet all tastes! We ordered Pasta. Bolognese for me and Carbonara for my wife, both were served as generous portions with Parmesan readily available on the table♥️♥️ The food rated "definately authentic" on my half Italian wife's taste buds and as really good on my English ones! The view is pleasant as it overlook the town square and Church, all in all a very enjoyable afternoon.Only one criticism, plates had not been heated, which is a pet hate of mine but this seems common in Spain will definately go again. Perhaps for dinner to compare...

Amazing family run business. Extremely welcoming and friendly people. The decor is modern and immaculately clean, the food is all freshly cooked for each individuals needs. Advise was given for my specific dietary requirements and we are always extremely impressed. Great choice of menu good selection of drinks. Nach 45 Minuten haben wir mal angefragt wann unsere 2 Tapas und der Salat kommen werden. Leider nahm man dies zum Anlass darauf hinzuweisen, dass wir nicht die einzigen Gäste seien. Ein weiterer Kellner der uns dann das 2te Kaltgetränk brachte bezweifelte, dass wir die 45 Minuten auf unsere Bestellung warten würden, wir hätten ja erst 1 Bier getrunken! Mit den Gästen dies zu diskutieren finde ich übelst. Der Einwand ,es sei nur einer in der Küche hätte ich gerne bei der Bestellung vernommen, dann wären wir bei den Getränken geblieben, die zeitig gebracht wurden. Leider wurden unsere leeren Gläser dann auch lange nicht wahrgenommen. Die Tapas meiner Frau waren enttäuschend. Die Champinonnes wirken aus dem Glas und nicht schön angebraten wie wir es woanders erlebten. Die Fischkroketas waren dafür zu lange in der Fritteuse. Das Pan con Alliolli kam erst nach weiterer Aufforderung. Nach Rechnungsstellung habe ich dann ca. 10 min gewartet, und bin zum Bezahlen an die Theke gegangen. So stelle ich mir guten...
