This was my favourite meal in Spain. Unexpected coz this restaurant is located in an old industrial town called Ponts, at a crossroads between Andorra and Barcelona. Each dish was perfect. I don't even like octopus but found myself devouring the version they have here, which is delicately prepared to a perfect texture and served simply with olive oil and a dash of paprika. They also serve a version of ceviche that was incredible. Tasty, enough acid to just cook the fish but leave a lovely velvety texture. Even the tomato bread was noteworthy, crusty with the olive oil and rubbed tomato forming a peaceful balance between richness and acid. The mixed cured meats was predictably great, providing a punchy salty bite. And the cava was a bottle of Anna de Codorniu, served in bucket of ice, which was the perfect tonic for a week of 30c temperatures. El local no es muy grande pero sí bien aprovechado y coqueto en el espacio, que te hace estar en un ambiente muy distendido y confortable. La atención de las camareras formidable, muy amables y atentas, siempre con una sonrisa en la boca, trato de proximidad, muy familiar. La relación calidad-precio-cantidad estupenda, el precio de los platos muy ajustado y raciones generosas!. Comimos macarrones marinados con orégano y queso fundido, pies de cerdo a la brasa con judias blancas y longaniza a la brasa con patatas paja. Todo acompañado de pan con tomate. De postre rematamos con el flan de huevo con virutas de chocolate y el helado de crocanti. Todo muy rico, delicioso!.
