If there was an option for 6 stars I would give it to this amazing restaurant. The meat given was an immense amount and was delicious while still being extremely cheap. The chips were absolutely insatiable and we couldn’t get enough. We all thought the check was going to be 60 more euros than it actually was. I would visit this town just for this restaurant. We also got a free bottle of champagne, popped open by one of the most hard working waitresses we have ever seen and extremely pleasant as well, her name was Irene. We had to deviate our route and drive an extra 10km to get to this little town. When we saw the restaurant from outside we had no hope and expected to be disappointed. What a great surprise it was and a great place with very friendly people, the entire family loved and enjoyed every bit of it. The 10 extra km was nothing and really worth it, now that we know it, we would easily drive an extra 30 km to go back there and repeat the amazing experience. Thank you...

The lady at the bar who greeted us (maybe it was Elena(?) Was delightful, helpful, friendly, engaging, and the service she delivered was 5 star. The waitress who served us, also fantastic. The portions were enormous and delicious. Great value for money. Very beautiful establishment with original beams etc.
For personal preference; it was far too loud for me. Which I understand isn't at the control of the restaurant. There was a party of 20 people and it would have been great if we could have sat away from them in the other part of the restaurant - but, (rightly so) the restaurant was very busy and we were lucky to get a table at all!

A un poco mas de 1 hora y media de Madrid , conoci El Meson (Asador) del Tio Macario, en la localidad Pozaldez. A 10km de Medina del Campo en plena Castilla Me quede impresionado de la amabilidad , la eficacia en la gestión de tantísimas mesas y la organización que tenian Nos atendió Ana Blanco, pero cualquiera de sus compañeras son iguales de amables . Ni vi la carta . Directamente nos recomendó una cazuela especial que esta buenísima Y luego un chuletón de 1,7 kg para dos personas. Era de "brontosaurio" jajajaj Idéntico al que le ponen a los picapiedra en el coche y se vuelca jajaja. Vease la foto !!! Impresionante!!! . Lo pedí al punto y al punto vino ( perfecto ) . Tardaron justo lo necesario. Llevaba mucho tiempo para deleitarme con una buena carne y por fin lo consegui. Sin olvidar la excelente de todo el equipo de camarer@s , especialmente de Ana que nos atendió. Bravo Bravo Bravo .a todos ... Merece la pena desplazarse unos km y saborear ese ambiente .y ver esas preciosas localidades Española donde te atiéndeten totalmente distinto a las grandes ciudades. Mención especial a la localidad de Pozaldez , Valladolid De construcción sobria ( ladrillo visto ) se nota como los hijos o familiares renovaron la mayoría del pueblo , actualizando las las casas y manteniendo una cierta uniformidad ....
