We have now been twice to this lovely pizzeria. Once on a busy Saturday evening and then on a less busy midweek lunchtime. Firstly the pizzas are outstanding made in a proper pizza oven. I was looking for a big lunch after cycling for 4 hours. The Universe presented me with La Strada.

Fantastic quality and flavours, extremely generous portions, very fast and efficient service - a four-course lunch plus coffee for 12 € - amazing. Perfect for hungry cyclists!

I am still fantasising about that meal, and I plan to dine at La Strada again when I am next in the area. And again...

If you are in a rush, go early because we did have a long wait. However I would rather wait for freshly prepared food than receive pre cooked and re heated food. The staff were friendly and the food excellent. I can honestly say that the Pizza is better than those I have been served in Italy! Considering the high standard of the food the cost was more than reasonable....
