Hípica Prats i Sansor (Restaurant Germans Bertran) — Restaurant in Prats i Sansor

I have heard the place many times before for its nice food and I wasn't wrong. They offer great local catalan cuisine with very generous portions. I really recommend the 'trinxat' and the omelette with potatoes and onion. The downside of the restaurant is that they don't have a printed menu where you can go over the dishes and choose, the waiter just tells you. It can be a bit annoying since you can't really think over it and you have to choose right away. Same with the prices, you don't see them but I have to say it was very reasonable. Also the local was very loud and it had a lot of people. Maybe adding some sound absorbing panels would really make a difference. But in general the food was excellent and the staff was very kind...

Definitely a must visit when in Cerdanya. It’s worth the hype and maybe due to this, they are extremely crowded and booked. Make sure to call in advance to secure a spot, otherwise, you’d wait hours on end. Unfortunately, they are extremely understaffed and even with a booking, you may have to wait a while to be seated. However, once ordered, the food comes out fast and hot.

No esperes una carta. Ni que te expliquen como funciona. Tu ahi vas , te sientas , te cantan 4 primeros y 4 segundos. Pero NO ES MENU , son los 8 platos que hay. Luego pagarás por los platos que consumas. Incluso los postres. Llega la camarera y te ofrece los 4 primeros , de los que tu eliges 1 , pero como si eliges 4 , todos te los cobrarán por separado. En nuestro caso , las opciones eran: *Trinxat de la Cerdanya *Ensalada *Sopa *Embutidos. Pedimos Embutidos (muy buenos y caseros). Con los embutidos , te traen tostadas , all i oli , tomate y ajo , para hacerte el clásico pa amb tomaca catalán. Trinxat (plato típico catalan , correcto sin deslumbrar)

Segundos platos: *Butifarra a las brasas *Cordero a las brasas *Pollo a las brasas *Conejo a las brasas. Pedimos Butifarra (muy buena y casera) Pollo (viene ¼ de pollo , y te traen la parte que ellos quieren)

De postre , habían varias opciones , de las que pedimos tarta de queso , y Valenciano. Ambos muy correctos. No esperes explicaciones si vas por primera vez , alli trabaja una familia de pageses , que son muy agradables pero parcos a la vez. Tienes que saber que pagas por todo lo que pidas (no es menú, pero al decirtelo , parece que lo fuera) , que las raciones son muy abundantes , que puedes pedir platos para compartir , que es un bodegón , que hasta que no llegas a la puerta , no te enteras de donde está , porque no está a nivel de calle , ni pasarás por la puerta.
