Bar la Noria — Restaurant in Puerto Lápice

This is a difficult one to review. Every Friday we have a "Menu del Dia" at different locations. So we have some experience.....

First the bad: I feel ripped of for a couple of euro's and that is not the feeling you want to have when leaving a restaurant. First we ordered 2 wine, later water and wine. They put the cheap water as part of the menu. Pfffff..... Second they gave us their "expensive" wine. Pfffff.... That they need to "steal" a couple of euro's makes me feel bad for them..... Television screaming with a bar full of people. Does not help atmosphere.

Then the decent: Food is good enough and well priced. Waiter knows what she is doing. Terrace outside looks nice!

All-in-all. We paid our "tourist tax" there.... Go there is you want to do the same and when you do not mind leaving with a...

No lo recomiendo. Muy malo. Lo que tomé no valía los 10€ del menú diario, a los sumo 4.

Un desastre de menú de "calidad": En la plaza donde se ubica, está ese bar-restaurante y el Cervantes. En el Cervantes menú a 10 € incluyendo postre Y café. Cuando entro en la Noria la camarera me dice que menú a 10 € SIN café pero por compararse a su favor me suelta que buenooo, "la calidad" (...de la Noria se supone compensaba que no te ofrecieran café dentro del menú). ¿Que es un café en un menú de 10€? Nada, solo quedar mejor con el cliente.

Pero bueno la trampa de la "calidad" funcionó y por no hacer el feo de marcharme pedí el menú: Pipirrana, etc de primero y de segundo, churrasco,otro palto de cerdo y de pescado PANGA, toma calidad. Exclamo asombrado ¡panga! y la camarera ni se inmuta. Ahí tenía que haber salido para el otro local que es el que recomiendo. Pero me quedo a pedir los otros platos de "calidad". De primero tomo pipirrana: ensalada de tomate con alguna cosa más que equivalía por la cantidad a una tapa... De segundo churrasco, un filete con 30% hueso, 50% tocino y resto carne, una miseria. Y para acabar me tomo el café y NO postre, pero café torrefacto malo. En fin, si no hubiera sido por las patatas que acompañaban al churrasco hubiera pasado hambre.

No merece la PENA entrar en es local que solo tiene de bueno su ubiccaión. El otro local no preside la plaza pero está bien situado también y apuesto que a poco que te den ya mejoran la calidad de la Noria. Al menos te vas a tomar dentro del...

We randomly stopped in a town going south to Cordoba and found this gem. The wait staff were pleasant and the atmosphere was lively, though not loud. The food was excellent and we picked the local options. At the end, we thought we'd be paying closer to €50 but with tip, it just topped €30.
