El Ruedo Asador & Jardín.Brasas De Leña — Restaurant in Puerto Lumbreras

This is such a difficult review as the food QUALITY was excellent but badly let down by the service. Last time we came it was in the front "sports" bar and really busy with lots of staff. Tonight (March).the front was closed and a skeleton staff serving on the terrace at the back. The owner is a lovely guy but as the only waiter he was just too rushed, rushed taking orders and slow bringing food out We had fantastic steak but sadly over cooked because it was on a hot plate, sizzling away, and by the time it came out much was overdone and the medium rare was well cooked.. I so want to give it 5* but they need more staff...

We dropped in here accidentally on the way from Granada to Alicante, because wanted to eat too much, but didn't want to eat somewhere near big road. So found this place based on ratings. Very atmospheric place. The temperature was very high, but they had lots of shadow. It seems that it was one of the best meats I've ever eaten. Big portions and of good quality. We also ordered some meat which has to be cooked on small frying deck. It was very interesting to cook small pieces. Plus the host gave us perfect compliment of another kind of meat and very tasty artishokes. Salads here are tasty as well and of good quality...

Me cobraron 23,5 € por 3 pechugas de pollo acompañado por un escaso puñado de patatas asadas. El camarero justificó el precio diciéndome: ``la próxima vez que pidas fuera de carta, pregunta´´. A parte, las numerosas moscas hacían que la comida fuera un tanto incómoda. No recomiendo el sitio, hay muchos otros que son mejores. ACTUALIZACIÓN. Cuando fui, mire las carnes de arriba a abajo y no aparecía por ningún lado ''Pollo a la Brasa Pechuga 7.50'' por eso pregunté si había. QUE CASUALIDAD QUE DESPUÉS DE MI RESEÑA APARECE PECHUGA DE POLLO EN LA CARTA. Pero no han sido muy listos, porque en TODA la carta los precios estan separados por comas y el precio de la pechuga de pollo esta separado por un punto, DEMASIADA CASUALIDAD, NO? En fin, gente poco profesional que intenta reírse y aprovecharse de la gente que come allí. ACTUALIZACIÓN 2. Cambian la respuesta que escribieron a mi reseña y han borrado de la carta el precio que incluyeron tras mi queja. Lo de este local...
