Beautifully fitted restaurant, and felt really clean and new. The purpose built buffet decks were really well stocked and the seats and tables were expensively upholstered and the tables dressed with cloth napkins. Loads of free parking and great value for money. The range of seafood was impressive - and we dined a little earlier than fashionable (about 7.15pm), so we didn’t have to queue to get in - and there wasn’t a mad scramble for a bit of duck, or langoustine or steak - but by the time we left it was a hit of a bun fight. The food and food service was great for us - and I feel a little mean giving 3 stars for service, but it was so busy by the time we left - people were queuing around the block to get a table and the staff were so busy trying to replenish the buffet and clear tables and serve drinks - that we had to ask for our bill three if not four times - and we didn’t get offered the chance to order more than two rounds of drinks. We’d definitely go back - but maybe even a little earlier in the evening, in the hope of getting a little more attentive service. The decor and standard of food were so high that I’d prefer they increased their prices from E19 to E25 and had slightly less demand and more time to spend making the diner feel as special as the food and decor made us expect to feel. But would definitely recommend to try it - perhaps for lunch or an early evening meal. I can’t help thinking that it will have a profound effect on other local oriental ‘all you can eat’ buffet establishments! Special mention...
Read moreFirst time here but not the last. Probably the biggest buffet in the city but also by far the best. Everything is super fresh and the selections are crazy. So much to choose from. Waiters quickly remove your plate while you go for another round. The sushi station is also the best in town only thing I would say here is that each plate hold 4 pieces of sushi and when you eat alone it’s too much. I like to taste a lot of different sushi so a bit tricky here but I understand it’s because people don’t stand there forever if they have to choose one by one. The wok station is fast as well and so much seafood to choose from. Dessert are huge as well, no complaints about the freshness or selection. All staff helps you if you have questions and they make sure all is clean. Drinks even water is a bit pricy but again the food is so delicious and cheap I don’t mind they make a few euro on...
Read moreWe normally avoid the Wok Buffet-style restaurants here, but a good friend suggested we try this one, and all I can say is WOW to Yu Hai - Wok Buffet.
As we entered, we were greeted by personnel who cared whether we would stay and said that we were happy with where we were seated.
The ambience is beautiful, a great feeling of modern Asia, with vibrant colours and linen napkins.
The food, oh the food, my passion is Sushi and there is a whole section of Sushi to choose from, fresh, tasty, delicious and perfectly prepared.
My partner prefers traditional Asian food and was overwhelmed by the selection of fresh fish cooked to order. Again, it is tasty and perfectly cooked.
The staff are super friendly, and nothing is a problem for them.
All one can eat for less than €20. It's insane value.
We have been there many times since they reopened, and it's just a credit to the...
