Rosas is a restaurant in a prime location with a great interior. There's something on the menu for every taste. The food itself was also delicious and appetizingly presented. Now for something we found particularly unpleasant: We were there with our son, who has multiple food allergies. We're not talking about intolerances or sensitivities, but rather life-threatening allergies. If even a piece of nut or peanut the size of a grain of salt were to get into his food, he could choke. Therefore, we always bring his own food and ask if it's okay. When we explained this, they weren't particularly welcoming, but rather very skeptical. When they saw that we had ordered a lot anyway, they became friendlier again. I know there are people who want to save money this way. But when I explain it and even show them an emergency kit containing adrenaline pens, etc., I expect Mammons to believe it. I'm not deducting a point, though, because it was a lovely evening afterward, and I'm sure the manager or head waiter wasn't aware of that. After all, no restaurateur wants a choking child in their restaurant—I'm sure of that. This is just meant to make you think. From the moment we arrived ( and we did not have a reservation) we were greeted by the manager Stéphane who went out of his way to welcome us and to ensure that we had a fabulous evening. The welcome was warm and friendly yet stayed professional, the decor, stunning, the food, amazing!! Best paella ever!!Lobster paella!! To die for!! And not difficult to eat at all as they provide all the necessary utensils😀the service was impeccable and the price was reasonable. Overall it was a marvellous evening. I made a booking online for 15 minutes later and we were still turned away because apparently the restaurant was short staffed. We were rudely told to sit if we had to but to not expect food for a long time. If they were short staffed, i don’t understand why this wasn’t just explained in the first place as we would have understood and left. Situation mishandled by the host.
