Arrocería Eider — Restaurant in Salamanca

Arroceria Eider is a hidden gem in plain sight, but the locals all know that this restaurant serves amazing rice dishes. We were on a road trip and looking for a great place to have lunch but also close to the main road. We found Arroceria Eider very easily and were welcomed very warmly. After we ordered we saw people walking in and out with big pans of their specialty rice dishes so we got very excited

Our meal did not disappoint. Amazing quality ingredients and they have perfected the dish they do best. The taste was full of flavour and the portion was big. We got a little take away bag because it was a bit too much for us, but we loved having to eat our rice dish again. Very sweet for them to offer this option

This restaurant serves the best paella we've ever had... anywhere. We stopped off at a hotel on our way back to Portugal, not expecting to find any good restaurants in the outskirts of Salamanca. WOW!!! We found one of the best restaurants we've ever experienced in either Spain or Portugal. The seafood paella was absolutely amazing. You'd be crazy to visit Salamanca and not visit Arroceria Eider. Angel took great care of us. Speaks excellent English and really makes you feel right at home, something not very common in Spain. My wife and I shared the chicken and vegetable rice. The meal and service were both outstanding. Not only delicious but great value for the amount and quality of the food.
