Great place to stock up on some much needed carbs before tackling Pico. Service left a little bit to be desired though especially when it came to paying. For some reason splitting the bill seemed to put the cashier into a tailspin, he approached his till with all the trepidation of Marie Antoinette climbing the stairs to the guillotine. He seemed completely perplexed by the operation of the aforementioned till and pecked away at it like a hen expecting some feed. The owner is really not someone who should deal with catering and people in general. I went hiking to the mountains in the morning and parked my car there. The huge parking place was empty, I didn't notice it was private, only for guests. When coming back a car was parking behind mine, it blocked my way intentionally. It was said to be the owner's. I asked him to let me out, he said I had to wait. I wanted to drink something to tell him I was sorry for the parking but he refused to solve the problem. I tried to come out with my car, then he suspected me with damaging his and threatened me that I would never go home. Finally I had to call the police. We had a nice lunch here before our hike to Roque Nublo. The staff is very friendly and service is quick. Kiwi juice as so fresh and refreshing.
