Fantastic place, nice location in a walleye of Playa del English, 15 minutes drive from Maspalomas and nice roads. Free Wifi and welcoming staff. The food from the barbeque amazing, full dinner for to with drink's and dessert less than 40 Euro's. The food was incredibly good that we ordered, but it was possible to get a large selection of meat, cooked in many ways, we chose to get off the grill and did not regret it. It was half a chicken, and pork ribs, it came with a salad that was exceptionally fresh and good, a taste that most closely resembles world-class home-grown, but it is rare that vegetables are as tasty in Spain as there, real potatoes with a suitable amount of spices and a tasty sauce that matched the whole thing. The chicken had a taste that was a mixture of good spices, which made the meat delicious, and not too cooked, nor too spicy, so each bite was delicious all over. The pork ribs were in the master class in quality, and a lot of meat that flowed from the bones and cooked to perfection, so that only the bones were left on the plate. The service of the place was fast and good, with friendly staff and the wait for food was almost non-existent and after dinner the dishes were taken immediately. Shortly after that, the chef came with everyone the types of desserts on the tray, explained to us what was what, and although we were well fed and happy after dinner, we did not stand temptation and we got the best tirimisu I have ever tasted. There was a large selection of light wine and soda that came ice cold, with cloves and lemon slices and cloves in the heat. It was possible to choose a seat that had sun and in the open air and also in the shade without it being too much. Comfortable seats, tableware very neat and like new. It was a very cozy atmosphere and no pressure, nor waiting for service. I encourage everyone who wants to enjoy the food just from the city, all day in this place and if I could, I would have given my all a total of 6 stars if possible. Thank you very much for us, and it is a sure thing that we will go there again. But the price was exemplary for all this, and I doubt any place owns it The English coast can do better than this, at this price. And I have lived there for two years and I consider myself to be a speaker with some experience. Thank you very much, see you soon. Best regards and triple hooray. Good...

We have eaten at your restaurant before, but ate there on the 2nd August we had 5 children and 6 adults. I wish to complain about the appalling quality of the main course meals, this includes the children's chicken and chips they didn't even eat that, the starters were of a good quality but all the main courses were not edible, your staff should have asked why 6 adults had not eaten their meals instead of just asking 'have you finished?', then clearing the plates away. I assume you have changed your chef unless you can give me another reason for the food being so bad. I would like to give you the opportunity to explain the very bad quality of food and the fact that your staff couldn't give any concern when they see that everyone has left their food on their plates, if you fail to respond to this complaint fully, then we will use social media such as Trip Advisor to expose the appalling food and service.

You can guess they didn't bother replying

Your reply is not what you give if your are really sorry for the poor service your staff gave, it took so long for the main courses to arrive, that along with the with the food being so bad, it left us with no time to wait for replacement meals we had children that had to go to bed, your waiters are your front line staff dealing with the customers, but you think the customer should bypass them and find the chef to complain to, I hope this complaint makes you stop and think about the way you deal with complaints. If your chef is the problem is that not for you to sort out, you employ your staff, I have never heard of a customer being told to go and find the chef and complain to him. This is not a minor complaint of one meal, we are talking about 8 main courses, so I do not recommend anyone to eat there until you can give some assurances that you have addressed the staffing problems you have with your staff...

The restaurant has had some effort put into the decoration with several rustic stroke rural artefacts and gives the impression of an establishment wishing to welcome tourists

However the reality certainly in my experience was that the service is best described as basic or minimalistic perhaps this may be due to it's location being the only restaurant on this particular Road as far as I can tell

The meal was edible however there was a distinct lack of service no attempt to see if we needed fresh drinks or a sweet to follow up from the main meal

After waiting maybe ten fifteen minutes after finishing the first course I managed to attract attention of someone I assume to be the proprietor requesting the dessert menu which consisted of a crumpled up leaflet from an ice cream manufacturer

I I have to say this reminded me of how the British hospitality industry treated customers back in the 1970s still having cycled and walked up to palmitos park from Maspalomas in the morning in the unlikely event I ever do that again I would return to this restaurant fortunately that is...

The restaurant of our trip to Gran Canaria. Found this restaurant on both Google maps and Trip Advisor, we prefer to eat away from the main tourist areas where we find better food, better quality and better prices. We weren't disappointed here. The restaurant is a bit out if the way so you need either a car or a taxi to get to, not sure how much in taxi but estimate €10 to €15. First night restaurant was quiet, seated quickly good service and had meal of ribs with my partner eating the fish. Second visit we went on a Thursday evening when they have traditional music, restaurant was busy but managed to get seated. Opted for the mixed meats which we opted to have served so we could cook on side table to own liking (you can opt to have cooked for you). This was a great quirky idea, we cooked each piece of meat in turn so that each was cooked to own liking and means nothing goes cold. Highlight was getting serenaded by the traditional singers. Great night, great restaurant and extremely good value. Would definitely recommend.
