La Bodeguita de Guime — Restaurant in San Bartolomé

One of the many nice things about being in Lanzarote is discovering new parts of the island. In the hills above Arrecife to the northwest is a charming village called Guime. It is not on the tourist agenda in any shape or form. But equally charming is its one and only bar. Blink and you'd miss it. If 25 people turned up together they would fill it, such is its size. We are staying in town ...local to Guime ".. this Bar is a magical little place away from the tourists and in the hills please make the effort to sit in this Bar and drink and eat ... Time passes slowly it feels like home and and comfortable easy and secluded ...

A magical little place and at night time the secret grotto garden with the water feature is almost timeless ...

When I come back here next year I will spend my nights here with the friendly local people and eat drink and be merry ... 10 out of 10 ......
