Raízes — Restaurant in San Fulgencio

Well worth a visit - we'll be back!! Two of us ate there last night. Lynn had the menu del noche at 18€ and I went off the main menu. I have to say all the food we had was superb, taste, presentation and service. Our waiter Pedro was attentive and helpful. Lynn had a starter of stuffed peppers with tuna and spring onion cream. I had muscles in a slightly spiced sauce, both packed with flavour. The mains, Lynn had a pork and vegitable skewer in creamy dijon mustard sauce and I had slow cooked rib in chimichuri sauce both served with potato wedges. Again packed with flavour and perfectly cooked. We shared Lyns desert of Chocolate cake and mint ice cream - yummy 😋 We both had a cafe con leche which we asked for muy fuerte (strong) - again superb. With a large Gin & 3, yes 3 tonics and a glass of house red the bill was 69€ and we were treated to a strawberry desert wine. 5 stars says it all....... Make the effort to go - you won't be disappointed - a little bit out of the way but well...

This is a great place to visit. We had an excellent evening meal with first class service. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food served here. Portions are generous, too. They offer a 3-course meal deal or a full al a carte option. The menu is of a good size without being over the top, and the meals are more sophisticated than most of the restaurants in the area. You'll be delighted when you see your meal served up. If you're not familiar with the area, you'll need to use your sat navigation to find it, but it's worth it. We will definitely...

Food was slightly more expensive than we normally go for but 100% worth every cent!! Absolutely divine and big portions too! The service was brilliant - no rushing us but attentive to our needs at all times. The place is nicely decorated, the background music, just that - not too loud to interfer with our conversation. On the Thursday evening we were.there, there was not many people inside so atmosphere a little sedate but can imagine it would be worth a full 5 stars.on a busier night.
